All fine, but check-in process.

Comfortable base near attractions
We spent three nights close to the Kyoto station, enjoying spacious accommodations and helpful staff that made our trip smoother. Shopping malls nearby were a bonus!
Unfortunately, the breakfast options didn’t meet expectations and were pricey for the quality. Plus, a convenience store was nowhere in sight, making quick snacks a challenge.

The hotel is perfectly located across from Kyoto Station. We enjoyed the spacious twin room, especially with our dog. The breakfast buffet was delightful, featuring fresh pastries and great variety. Also, we loved having bike parking available for exploring the area.
In my kids' opinion, they wished there was more space to open our luggage, especially given the limited floor space in the main building.

The room was clean and spacious for our family of four. It had all the necessary toiletries and a decent layout, which worked well for us. The bathroom felt a bit tight but it was manageable. The view of Kyoto Station was really cool, and the gentle sounds from the trains actually added to the atmosphere without interrupting sleep. Just a heads up, the room key is a flimsy card with the hotel name on it, so keep that in mind for security. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Incredible location just across from the train station made getting around a breeze, perfect for hopping between tourist spots and local eateries. The hotel features a neat perk with kimonos and yukatas available for guests to try on, adding a fun touch for photos.
Room sizes are not advertised, which could be a letdown if staying for multiple days. my double king felt cramped after a few nights. The basement bar had limited hours, making it hard to unwind after a long day, and breakfast service was overcrowded, requiring us to be redirected to another restaurant when our preferred choice was full.

perfectly placed for city exploration and park views
During my stay, I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was so close to the Kyoto Railway Museum, which was perfect for a leisurely stroll—and it’s a short walk to the beautiful Tofuku-ji Temple, where I soaked in stunning gardens and serene views after a day of exploring the city. being a single traveler, I appreciated the spacious room I had, allowing me to unwind comfortably after busy days, but I wish the front desk had been a bit more accommodating with early check-in requests.
